One of the innovations in macOS Monterey is the Quick Short Notes feature, which is activated when you hover over the lower right corner of the desktop .
At first it appears as a small white corner, but moving the cursor closer to the corner opens a square box.< /p>
Clicking on it opens a window for creating a new note – so you can quickly write something down without opening the Notes application.
This might be useful in theory, but those who keep bumping into it by mistake will probably want to turn it off. Fortunately, this is very easy to do.
How to turn off Quick Short Notes
Open System Preferences and navigate to Mission Control.
Select Hot Corners here.
Click on “Short Note”.
From the pop-up list, scroll down to the option ” -” and click on it.
Done: this function will no longer bother you. If you wish, you can also assign new actions to each of the four corners of the screen.
