Microsoft announces that it has turned its Garage handwriting tool into a full-fledged user application. It is now called Microsoft Journal.
The developers have finalized some functions taking into account the wishes of users testing the Journal, and adapted the interface for Windows 11.
The application offers the ability to keep personal notes in free form , allowing you to take notes and sketches using handwriting. There is also support for gestures. For example, by crossing out a word, you can erase it, and by stroking it, you can select it.
Microsoft Journal can also be used to mark up PDF files, which, according to the developers, is especially popular with users of the service.
The updated app is now available for download on Windows from the Microsoft Store.
