iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 are out. What's new?

A couple of months after the launch of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 betas, Apple is finally releasing updates to all users. Unlike previous versions, there are not many changes in these updates. Here are the main ones.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause settings to show that the device's memory is full even though it isn't.
  • Fixed a bug that Braille devices could be slow or unresponsive when navigating through text in the Mail app.
  • Fixed an issue in Safari that could cause tabs to revert to previously open web pages.< /li>
  • Fixes an issue on iPad mini (6th generation) where chargers and other USB‑C accessories may not be recognized by the tablet.

Updates can be downloaded for free, “on Air: In the Settings app, open General and select Software Update.

IOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 are followed by macOS Monterey 12.5, watchOS 8.7, and tvOS 15.6. There are very minor changes.
