Chrome 92 introduces an experimental feature on smartphones that allows you to follow your favorite sites in a separate feed, like in the long-closed Google Reader RSS feed service.

The titles of the articles will be displayed in a general list with the covers on the Google home page. Previously, only icons of visited resources and recommendations were displayed there, but now there will be a second tab “You are subscribed”.

To subscribe, you need to open the necessary site, click on the ellipsis in the upper right corner and select “+Subscribe” below. To make this button visible, the function must be manually activated using the chrome://flags/#web-feed command in the address bar. Next, you need to restart Chrome.

Unsubscribe from the news you can in the same place in the menu by clicking on the ellipsis or through the settings of the feed itself. In the latter case, you need to click on the gear, go to the settings and disable unnecessary subscriptions.

Note that not all sites are displayed correctly in the feed yet. The function is being tested and tuned before the final release.
