Now it is much more convenient and modern.
Xiaomi is updating the Mi Fit companion app, which allows you to connect Mi Band fitness bracelets and some branded watches to your smartphone. In the latest version 5.6.0, the developers have changed the design of the home screen for the first time in a long time.
Old (left) and new interface (right)
The app used to have three tabs at the bottom, namely Workout, Friends, and Profile, with the Workout tab also serving as the home page. However, with the update, there is a dedicated Home tab that makes it easier to quickly access the most important data.
The home screen itself is now much more modern and visually appealing than in the previous version of Mi Fit. By default, the “Home” page displays six cards: steps, sleep, heart rate, PAI, weight analysis and training history.
The order, as well as the set of these cards, can be changed. For example, you can display statistics on stress, blood oxygen, calories, women's health and more on the main page.
The Walking, Running and Cycling sections have been moved to the Workout tab – don't lose them. They used to be part of the home screen and displayed at the top.
