VKontakte launched a separate app for its TikTok short video service, VK Clips, on iOS and Android .
The application gives content authors access to shooting videos in Full HD @ 60 fps, an updated editor with filters and effects, and the maximum length of videos has been increased to three minutes (previously there was a limit of 60 seconds).
We also expanded the functions of editing video fragments: we added reshooting and reshooting, splitting and merging, changing the order of fragments, changing the duration, color filters, reverse and duplication.
All videos uploaded to the new application will be available in the usual VK application – and vice versa. At the same time, some functions of VK Clips can be used in guest mode without registration.
The creators prepared for the launch of the application unique masks, effects and filters. Among them is the new effect “In touch”, which imitates a call from celebrities (it uses pre-recorded videos from Klava Koka, Ilya Sobolev and other partners).
