An independent developer with the nickname JustAn0therAndy has released the STEPL application, which allows you to explore the worlds of computer games literally with your feet – just by stepping in place in the real world in front of your computer.
To do this, players need to install STEPL on an Android smartphone and a Windows PC, log in, sync devices, select a game and put the smartphone in their pocket so that it reads the steps on location.
Other necessary actions in games can be performed using a connected gamepad or a keyboard that is raised for a comfortable game while standing.
