Microsoft has announced the upcoming end of support for the official OneDrive sync app on macOS Sierra 10.12 and macOS High Sierra 10.13. This will help the company focus on client support for current OS versions.
Starting September 10, 2021, OneDrive on these systems will no longer receive updates (including security), and it will not be possible to install the application on a computer with an unsupported OS version . It is noted that the installed clients will continue to work, but Microsoft will not check the correctness of their work.
It is recommended that you upgrade to at least Mojave 10.14 to continue working, and for better performance and support, Microsoft advises installing macOS Big Sur 11.0 and newer.
