There are two ways to set up quick access to this feature. polzovatelja-v-kontakty-9710ee5.jpg” alt=”How to send a WhatsApp message on iPhone without adding the user to contacts” />

By default, WhatsApp only allows you to start a new chat with people you already have in your contacts. This is inconvenient if you only need to write a couple of messages to a person, and no further communication is planned. Fortunately, iPhone users have a couple of ways to avoid the accumulation of contacts like “Nikita the iPhone seller” and “Anastasia ask about the counters.” We will talk about each of them in detail.
Method 1. Through the “Teams” application
Instead of taking active actions every time you need to send a message without adding the user to contacts, it is better to create a quick command once to start such chats in a couple of seconds. To do this:
1. Make sure that WhatsApp is installed on your smartphone and that you are logged into your account.
2. Open the Teams app (preinstalled on iPhone; if you removed it, download it from the App Store). In the “My Teams” tab, click on the “+” icon in the upper right corner.
3. Click on the line “Search for software and actions.” In the window that opens, scroll down to the option “Send messages via WhatsApp” and click on it.
4. Complete the command: click on the field to the left of “Recipient” and select “Ask every time.” Then give the command a name and change the icon if you wish.
5. Click on the cross icon to close the command editing. This will save the changes.
Done: now just click on the box with the created command, and then on “Select Recipient” (yes, this is the official translation) to enter the recipient's phone number and start chatting.
You can activate the command not only manually in the application, but also using Siri. If you often send messages to people you don't want to add to your contacts, you can add a team shortcut to your desktop. To do this, open the team settings, click “Share”, then select “Go to Home Screen”.
3. Open the Safari start page. Here, press and hold the shortcut you just created until the context menu appears. Select Edit.
4. Click on the cross icon in the “Address” section to delete the previously saved link, and paste the following code into this field:
javascript:(function(){
var phone = prompt(" Who do you want to text to?", "9876543210");
if (phone != null) {
window.location.href = "https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone= " + phone;
}
})();
5. Click Save.
Now, in order to send a new message, just click on this tab. It will open the number input interface on top of the last opened page in Safari: just replace 9876543210 with the desired number and click OK.
