Google is shutting down Stadia game streaming service

Google has officially announced its decision to close the Stadia cloud service, which allows you to run demanding games on smartphones, tablets, PCs and TVs.

The reason for this decision is the low popularity of the service. For a long time, the company tried to promote its product through partners and create exclusive content, but all this did not bring the desired result.

Stadia will continue to work until January 18, 2023, and after all the servers will be turned off – users will not be able to run games .

Google is going to refund all purchases of controllers in its Google Store, as well as all games and additional content. The refund is scheduled to be completed by mid-January 2023.
