Blizzard, as promised, has announced the first official mobile game in the Warcraft universe. It was subtitled Arclight Rumble.

The game is positioned as an easy-to-learn action-strategy where players have to collect units and send them into chaotic battles – clear the map, destroy certain opponents, or capture something.

The developers noted that they were inspired by tower defense games, but in Warcraft Arclight Rumble the main emphasis is on attack.
Pre-registration is now available on Google Play. Closed beta testing is expected in the near future. There will be an iOS version later. More details on the official website.
