The system can become similar to macOS. ” alt=”Microsoft accidentally showed a prototype interface for the next version of Windows” />

As part of the recent Ignite conference, Microsoft developers talked about the development of Windows and showed a slide with a system interface that differs from the current one in Windows 11. The editors of the Windows Central portal believe that it depicts a design prototype desktop of the next OS version.
Other variations are also reported to place system icons and items at the top in a translucent bar instead of just floating on desktop. Microsoft also has plans for larger updates to the lock and login screen interface, notification center, and more.
The proposed design prototype is intended to create an interface that is better optimized for touch without reducing the ability to mouse and keyboard users. This look will be universal for desktops, laptops, and tablets, including those with foldable displays.
There's no word yet on a release date for Next Valley.
