Yandex announced that the Alice voice assistant is now available on all LG smart TVs released in 2022. At the same time, the capabilities of Alice herself on Smart TV have expanded: now she works not only with Yandex Music, but also with Kinopoisk.
You can ask the assistant to turn on something specific, choose a movie with your favorite an actor or in a given genre, or to advise something new. She will also be able to turn on a specific playlist, audiobook or podcast through Yandex Music directly from the TV. LG TV models on webOS 22 have a dedicated button on the remote control to interact with Alice.
Assistant support and new skills will appear on compatible TVs as new firmware becomes available.
