WhatsApp will allow you to hide your online status and prohibit taking screenshots of files with self-destruction

Mark Zuckerberg has officially announced three new features that will appear in the WhatsApp messenger in the near future. All of them are related to user security.

The first two have already been found in betas: these are opportunities to leave the group Chat without notifying participants and hide when you are online from a selected group of users. The first will appear in WhatsApp before the end of the month, the second – in September.

The third feature is new, though long-awaited. Users will not be able to take screenshots of self-destruct media files. If you try to take a screenshot, a warning will appear, and the picture will not be saved in the device's gallery. It is not yet known when this will be added to the messenger.
