Therefore, if you want to use someone else's Instagram photo on the Internet, it's better not to download it, but to embed the post on your page.
However, sometimes there is still a need to download an image to the device. For example, you lost your phone and valuable personnel remained only on the social network. Or you have received consent from the author and you can download the photo legally – however, in this case it is better not to limit yourself to a verbal agreement, but to discuss the issue in correspondence so that you have proof. In such situations, several working methods will help.
How to download photos from Instagram to any device
1. Using the download site
One of the easiest and most versatile ways is online services like iGram and SnapInsta. To download, just open Instagram and copy the link to the post with the desired image. Then paste it into the box on one of these two sites and click “Download”. When uploading to iPhone or iPad, use the Safari browser.
If there are several pictures in the post, the services will show them all, and you can save the ones you need. iGram also allows you to select the desired resolution.
2. Via Telegram
If you use Telegram, you can upload photos from Instagram directly through the messenger. Just copy the link to the post with the photo you want and send it to the Instagram Saver bot. It will extract the picture, and it will be possible to save it in the device's memory.
If there are several pictures in the post, the bot will only allow you to download the first photo. To download the rest, you will have to use a different method.

How to Download Instagram Photos to iPhone or iPad
Perhaps the easiest tools for uploading photos to Apple devices are listed at the beginning of the article: uploader sites and Telegram. But just in case, here's another way. It is not as convenient, but does not depend on third-party applications and services.
Copy the link to the post that contains the desired photo. Then open it in the Safari browser. Long press on the picture that opens and click Copy. If there were several frames in the post, you can select only one of them (for others, the procedure will have to be repeated).
After that, open the Notes application. Create a new entry, hold your finger in place to enter text, and select Paste. Click on the image that appears, use the “Share” button and tap “Save Image”. It will then appear in the Photos app.
