In the beta version of the updated WhatsApp messenger, they discovered the ability to hide their online status and last visit data from all contacts. The WABetainfo portal writes about this.
Judging by the screenshot from the application, users will have access to advanced settings that allow them to choose who will have access to the activity data in the messenger. The status can be hidden both from all contacts and only from certain people.
< p> To do this, in the “Account” section, go to the “Privacy” item and select the desired option. If you hide online information about your account, the user will no longer be able to view similar data on other profiles.
A new feature was found in messenger version 2.22.20.9 for Android devices. Previously, a similar feature has already been tested on iOS. The date of appearance in the stable version of the messenger has not yet been announced, but the release is probably close.
