WhatsApp for iOS has received a major update. One of the most important features was the ability to pause and resume recording voice messages. This feature has been tested since October and is now available to all users.
Another feature included in the 22.2.75 update relates to iOS 15. Notifications now properly support Focus mode. This means that selected users will be able to send you notification messages even if this mode is enabled.
Last but not least, WhatsApp now displays the user's profile photo when receiving a notification – like, for example, in the Telegram messenger.
WhatsApp reports that these features will appear in the next few weeks, which means that it may take some time before they appear in all users. Check the App Store for the latest version and update.
