Many people value Apple's standard reminders for their balance of minimalism and functionality. But using the Reminders Menu Bar utility makes working with them even easier and faster.
As the title implies, its main function is to move reminders from the application directly to the menu bar, where they will always be at hand. In a small window that opens on click, tasks from the selected lists are displayed compactly. You can mark tasks and create new ones, view completed ones.
Interaction is done through an intuitive interface. By clicking the filter button, designate which lists should be displayed. The icon in the center at the bottom is used to show completed cases. Also in the settings you can choose the appearance of the window and enable autorun.
To quickly add new reminders, there is an input field at the top. The button on the right is responsible for selecting the desired list, which changes color depending on the folder.
Each of the added items can be clicked, and using the additional menu, they can also be moved to another list, rename or delete. The only thing you can't do yet is set deadlines directly from the Reminders Bar.
At the same time, all cases with the period specified in the “Reminders” are displayed correctly. Moreover, they have a special Upcoming reminders section where you can view upcoming tasks for the day, week, month, depending on the selected filter.
Reminders Menu Bar is an open source project and is distributed free of charge via GitHub.
