Apple has released a major update to the iWork office suite. These are free services for Mac, iPhone and iPad that provide an alternative to Microsoft Office.

This update brought a lot of changes to the applications. Here's what's changed since 12.0:

  • Pages – Improved support for VoiceOver allows you to track changes and voice comments. This will be useful for users with poor eyesight. Also included is the ability to publish files up to 2 GB directly to Apple Books and support for macOS Monterey Shortcuts and adding a page number anywhere on iPhone and iPad.
  • Numbers– you can take snapshots of table cells, copying them in their current state (without formulas, categories and hidden values). You can use VoiceOver to create formulas and quickly autofill cells, and you can create and add rows to tables using macOS Monterey Shortcuts. On iOS, you can adjust the font size to two decimal places.
  • Keynote– through the “Quick Commands” you can now create and open presentations, show a slide show and start demonstrating the selected presentation. On iOS, you can zoom in on a slide up to 400% and adjust the font size to two decimal places.

Updates are now available for all compatible devices.
