Announced a new budget version of Chromecast with Google TV

Google has released a new version of the Chromecast HD TV dongle. It is indistinguishable from the previous 4K model, but costs almost half as much – only $ 30 (≈1,800 rubles).

The device is positioned as a solution for older TVs . It allows you to output to a picture with a resolution up to 1080p and supports HDR10+ and HLG standards.

Google TV based new product with support for Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Prime Video and YouTube. Connects to TV via HDMI. There is support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth.

Chromecast HD comes with a familiar remote control that supports voice input.
