Xiaomi is actively testing MIUI 14, the next firmware update based on Android 13. It is also expected to be available on Android 12, albeit with reduced features. MyDrivers has shared screenshots and descriptions of new features found in early beta build 22.7.19.
In the “Gallery” appeared the function of text recognition. Like its counterpart in iOS, it allows you to copy text from an image. Another new addition is memory notifications, which show photos you took on the same day a few years ago. If desired, they can be disabled in the settings.
Also added support for Bluetooth LE Audio, which makes it easy to switch between audio sources. Improvements have also been made to protection against fraudsters: the system will learn to warn about suspicious calls, messages, and applications.
