Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 16 for anyone to install. This version of the OS is much more stable than previous developer builds.

How to install iOS 16:

• go to the beta testing site and sign in to your Apple ID with Safari;
• register your device;
• go to the iOS tab and at the very bottom of the page, click “Load Profile”;
• open on iPhone “Settings” → “General” → “Profiles” and install the downloaded beta profile;
• restart the device and then go to the update menu and install iOS 16 public beta.

The system was officially introduced in June. She received a new lock screen with additional customization options, Live Activities widgets, new features for the standard messenger “Messages” and more.

The final release of iOS 16 will take place in the fall. You can install the OS on the iPhone 8 and all newer Apple smartphones.
